The story behind Transtar website
Transtar wanted to offer a better online experience and attract new customers
Transtar is a company from Tartu, Estonia, and they hired us to upgrade their online presence and do some onsite optimisation. Transtar was founded in 1996 with the aim of becoming rich and beautiful, which is a good goal, right? The core of Transtar’s business lies in international transport and the provision of transport organisation services. To feed their dreams they needed to step into 2015 with an upgraded website, since a great deal is done online nowadays. Given that, we were ready to get going!
Our goal was to upgrade the layout and design that were to be supported with short and clear texts. Of course, the website had to be responsive (desktop, mobile, tablet) and contain simple onsite SEO optimisation tactics.
The approach was yet again similar - first we started with some questions and interviews that led us to drawing nearly 30 wireframes. Once completed, we gave the sketches a fine responsive design that was coded into a fully responsive Wordpress Theme. Once done, we put everything together in an edited copy and started testing. During the project we had some memorable meetings and shared a few laughs. So, good times were enjoyed by everybody.
The website is up and in addition to online quotes and increased Google rankings, we hear they are getting compliments from customers. So, it’s all looking very promising!
Quick overview of what we did:
Research, analysis, wireframes, responsive design, front+WP development, onsite SEO, copywriting instructions, a multilingual Wordpress Theme, and much, much more.
Everything was made possible thanks to:
The Transtar team and management, Lauri P, Kaarel K, Kristjan V and other star actors.
