The story behind Tradehouse website
We planned and designed
their new ecommerce website
Tradehouse contacted us with a wish to upgrade their ecommerce website. Their current website was working quite well, but they also knew about the untapped potential. Tradehouse’s main fields of business are the wholesale and distribution of professional haircare products, cosmetics, accessories and salon equipment, interiors for beauty and styling salons, and also retail sales. Tradehouse was established in 2002.
The goal was simple - update the design and get more sales from the website. That sounded like another ambitious plan. Luckily we were on the same page, so we started collaboration.
The approach was again similar - first we dived into analysis, customer research and interviews that led us to drawing effective wireframes. Once completed, we gave the sketches a polished and clean responsive design that was supported by a product brief. Tradehouse wanted to integrate the inventory system themselves, so we helped them just by doing the front-end development.
We had many lively meetings that were packed with good ideas and discussions about their target group. Tradehouse has an excellent company culture and very friendly staff.
Their IT department has now completed the challenge and got the website up so we are looking forward to seeing the results.
